Terracotta Sunlight

Psalm 19:1-3

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.

There is no speech or language
where their voice is not heard.

----------
When noonday sunlight hits the terracotta
and the scent of fresh cut grass is in the air,
mingled with the perfume of the flowers
as insects buzz around without a care.

My heart is oh so full of adoration.
for the one who spoke the Word,
“Let there be Light.”
He clothed the universe in all its spleandor,
a reflection of His Glory and His might.

Spring is here

Awake and ring you snowdrop bell,
play loud you yellow trumpets tell,
"away with winter's dreary cheer,"
shout loud at last, for spring is here.

You trees put on your bright green coats.
come skip you lambs and young kid goats,
let all creation shout with glee,
"Oh come and praise The Lord with me."

For He has caused the seasons four,
with joys of each, and what is more,
it's He who holds all things together,
so praise Him now, praise Him forever.

when distractions come my way
I clear my mind and say
I Love You
and as the time goes by
my heart and soul will cry
I Love You
a silent whisper first
but then I'm fit to burst
I shout with all I'm worth
I LOVE YOU LORD

To You belongs the Glory

To You belongs the Glory,
the Honour and the Praise.
To You belongs the Majesty
Lord God, Ancient of Days.
Because throughout the ages,
You’ve always been the same.
Alpha and Omega,
Oh praise Your Holy name,
You stepped down from your heaven
into this world of sin.
You didn’t pause to count the cost
my wretched soul to win.
You’ve sought me, bought me, taught me,
showed me the way to live.
On Calvary’s cross your life you gave,
there was no more to give.
Now I’m no longer bondsman,
Your truth has set me free.
Ever more I’ll sing Your praise,

thank you for saving me.

The Heavens reflect Gods' Glory

They sing out a song
as they hurry along,
their orbits laid out in His plan.
Each with its own place,
a vast curtain of space
but only one sustaining Man.

They all have a name,
though not one’s the same
and there’s billions, nay trillions or more.
Man cannot count
or indeed surmount,
the spleandour of these, that’s for sure.

So each with its beauty
performing its duty,
created with reflection in mind.
an awesome task,
A God? People ask.
Oh how, can they, be so blind.
